Amherst is the largest and most populous suburb in the Buffalo area, anchored by the University at Buffalo's North Campus and stretching from dense mid-century subdivisions near the city line out to newer, larger-lot development toward Clarence. Sheridan Drive, Millersport Highway and Niagara Falls Boulevard form the commercial backbone, running past the Northtown Center and Boulevard-area retail corridors. UB's North Campus and the surrounding student rental neighborhoods add a steady stream of turnover and cleanout work between semesters. We see a genuine range of housing stock here, from tight 1950s ranch lots to spacious modern subdivisions, so container sizing varies more in Amherst than almost anywhere else we serve.

On private property — a driveway, a yard, a job site — you will not normally need a permit anywhere in Erie County, and that covers the large majority of our Amherst deliveries. What matters far more is whether the surface can take the weight and whether the truck can physically get in.
